We supply top quality Glenfiddich 12 Whisky which is one of three whisky distilleries which sit in relatively close proximity to each. The Glenfiddich distillery is currently one of but three distilleries to bottle on site, and houses stills with a total annual capacity of 13 million liters. Furthermore, Glenfiddich matures its single malt whisky in its onsite warehouses, which can house up to 800,000 casks.

Malt is bought in, a proportion of this is malted at the neighboring Balvenie distillery. Glenfiddich was a relatively small brand and faced hefty competition from the blended scotch brands which held a veritable monopoly on the market.
Whisky or whiskey is a type of distilled alcoholic beverage made from fermented grain mash. Besides ingredients and aging, the different varieties emerge from different places of production.

Glenfiddich Whiskey.

Whisky is spelled without the “e” if it is Scotch whisky, made in Scotland. This is also Canada’s spelling of whisky. Whiskey with the “e”, on the other hand, maybe produced in Ireland or the US for instance such as bourbon whiskey. The typical unifying characteristics of the different whisky classes and types are the fermentation of grains, distillation, and aging in wooden barrels.

Whisky is a strictly regulated spirit worldwide with many classes and types. Whiskies differ in their base product, alcohol content and quality. Grains that can produce whisky include corn, wheat, barley, malted barley, rye and malted rye. Malt whisky is made primarily from malted barley, while grain whisky is made from any type of grain. Each whisky type has certain characteristics that makes it unique in its kind.
