Monkey Shoulder scotch whisky may be suggested by the producers for mixing in cocktails, it”s flavours in isolation shows notes of marmalade, cocoa and malt. Shoulder monkey Vanilla and spice – think nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon with a hint of aniseed. Monkey Shoulder Whiskey

Creamy palate hints of berry fruit. Toasted barley, cloves and butterscotch. Manuka honey, hot-buttered-toast and dried apricot develop. Moderate in length with spicy oak and a hint of peppermint on the finish.

Monkey Shoulder Scotch.

Monkey Shoulder garnered its name from the affliction suffered by malt men in the distillery whilst turning the malting barley during long shifts, it’s back breaking stuff. This process has gone by the way of machinery, but this whisky has been named in honour of their passion.

Shoulder monkey Produced by Malt Master David Stewart at William Grant & Sons, the whisky is a blended malt made up of 27 casks from Kininvie, Glenfiddich and Balvenie distilleries. The bottle features three monkeys, representing these three distilleries. Monkey shoulder whisky

Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 700mL.

Monkey Shoulder Whiskey is a premium Scotch Whisky that is steeped in history and culture and to this day is still tended by hand by the experienced Malt Men of Speyside. A smooth and rich ‘triple’ malt Scotch (a world first!) that has been blended from three of Speyside’s finest single malts and using batches from only 27 casks to produce this fine malt whisky.

A delightful nose of sherry, cinnamon baked pear, butterscotch, barley, strawberry and Bourbon vanilla which are all complemented by tangy, sweet nut, citrus, mint, oak and orange peel flavours.
